Hi I'm Kjersti, published artist and illustrator. I studied graphic design at Kingston University but after finishing my degree I moved into illustration and surface pattern design.My illustration work has appeared in places such as 'Eventyr fra Jordens Hjerte' a collection of folk stories from around the world published in Norway, greeting cards, prints and even as appliqué quilting patterns. 

My unique Scandi-African background gives my work a quirky yet approachable perspective, with a focus on the emotions and diversity we experience around us every day.
 
Growing up I was always under the impression that we could make and create anything if we put our mind to it, and to a large extent it was true. This ethos, I believe, is why my art does not fall into just one medium but many. That way the possibilities are endless and one's imagination can soar!
