This pattern is in a PDF format. It is not formatted for any embroidery machines.
The Owl measures approximately 5.5 inches wide x 6.5 inches tall (not including the branch) and has an add-on template if you want a Christmas Owl. 
This pattern includes fabric requirements, basic instructions and raw edge appliqué templates.  All the drawings supplied are the correct size and have already been reversed for convenient tracing. However you can always enlarge or reduce the template as needed. 
The PDF file is sent to you as A4 (297mm x 210mm) colour pages for you to print out at home.
What I love about appliqué patterns is how versatile they can be, whether you put them in blocks for a quilt, on a cushion cover or front of a bag. It can also be a great way to use up some of your scraps!
